Broken Waves

In my latest artwork, I have transformed broken emu eggs into a stunning homage to the beautiful lake we call home. The unique texture of the eggshells depicts the gentle rolling waves that dance across the water's surface. I have intricately painted these shells with delicate blues and greys, capturing the essence of the lake's serene movement. The shells are mounted on watercolour paper, which is painted to reflect a cloudy sky, enhancing the overall dreamy atmosphere of the piece. This artwork not only showcases the natural beauty surrounding us but also emphasizes the intricate relationship between nature and creativity, inviting viewers to immerse themselves in the tranquil landscapes around us.
