Each piece is created from hand-painted and broken eggshells, then reassembled into a luminous mosaic that mirrors the natural rhythm of the shoreline. Gentle yet complex, The Shallows invites the viewer to pause, reflect, and find stillness in transformation.

Delecate Balance

Created from delicate chicken eggshells, the series is inspired by a summer spent on Lake Erie watching the way sunlight bounced off the water and noticing the shift from brilliant blues into the deep forest greens of autumn. The palette reflects this seasonal transition: warm raw sienna, a custom-mixed indigo, and earthy sap green.

To the River is a meditation on the places where trees lean toward the water and life gathers quietly at the edge. Lily pads drifting, branches dipping, sunlight filtering through green.

This series is inspired by the living rhythm of the riverbanks, where every reflection tells a story of connection between earth and water. Created with hand-painted ostrich eggshells, ink, and gold leaf, each piece captures the gentle movement and balance found in nature’s small moments.
