How to Commission Art?

One of the most rewarding processes as an artist is to work with a client on a custom commission. I welcome the opportunity to create custom pieces that reflect a particular space, memory, or connection to the natural world. Together, we will discuss the size, colour palette, theme, and framing details to create an artwork that feels personal and uniquely suited to your home.

Each commission begins with an initial consultation, during which we will explore ideas and determine the scope of the project. Once the details have been finalized, a non-refundable deposit of 50% is required before work begins, with the balance due upon completion.

Commissioning a piece is an incredibly rewarding experience for both the collector and the artist. It offers the chance to collaborate in creating something meaningful that will be enjoyed for years to come.

Please note that all commissioned works are non-refundable. Estimated timeline is 6 to 12 weeks from consultation to finished work.
